dinner last night

Body conscious cooking does require an investment in time, but it really is worth the effort. Another spontaneous lip smacking meal... If you don't know what 'spontaneous cooking' means, read the first post tagged as such.

TIP: When you go to the grocery store, don't go with specific foods in mind, go with general tastes and worry about what the recipe will be later.

Last Night's Dinner
POTATOES, FISH, GUACAMOLE & CHIPS

POTATOES:
Boiled a few small russet potatoes.
When soft, remove from water and cut into quarters
Throw into a heated pan with a little butter
Add salt, pepper and spices of your choice.
(Onion powder, garlic granules, coriander powder, red pepper.)
Keep on low heat and stir/mash occasionally.

FISH
2 fillets of trout
Heat a pan with olive oil.
Add lots of chopped garlic and 1 green chili.
Throw fillets on the pan.
Spice the fillets with pepper, cumin, red pepper & salt.
Turn the fillets over.
Remove when flaky.

GUACAMOLE
You can make your own guacamole, or be lazy and get fresh ready made kind.

Now serve in 4 sections on your plate:
Fish, potatoes, guacamole and chips.
